I usually use a comparison site like Trivago to get a rough idea of prices in an area. Then once I found somewhere which looks affordable, head over to the TopCashback website and search for the booking agent (eg Booking.com, Hotels.com, etc.) to see if there are any cashback or money off offers for that site.
